Just the other day, some guy cut me off, then proceeded to sit directly in front of me in the lane, on an otherwise empty highway, going the same speed I had been going before. I waited for the opportune time, then passed him, and proceeded to block him behind me by matching speed with a big rig, which was going noticeably slower than I had been going when he cut me off before. Every once in a while, I'd speed up, wait until he was tailgating me, trying to get into that minuscule space in front of the truck, then just let off the gas. I gradually slowed, and he eventually backed off of me, and switched to behind the truck, obviously to take the chance to get ahead of me. I promptly sped up. I played this game with him all the way from Hopland to Healdsburg, where I finally took pity on him and gave him space. He cut around me, and then tried to play the same game back to me, except that he had no finesse or patience. It took me about 30 seconds to move to the other lane, and slowly pass him by. Unfortunately, he got off at the next exit, so the game ended. I've actually done this to someone on i5, driving down to Fresno at 2 in the morning. I kept that guy trapped for almost 3 hours. In retrospect, it may have been slightly mean, considering that he hadn't been too much of a dick, but it was late, I was tired, and the thrill of the game was keeping me awake. I commute 5 hours everyday, but when I pass I put on the blinkers, and never tail gate, I also tend to stay on the passing lane, usually though, there's always a super slow dick going UNDER the speed limit (no joke)! Aren't these people more annoying, and more dangerous than the fast douches? It seems to me that you hate people who pass you super fast!
